SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- ASHA Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ASHA) announced today that it has signed a license agreement with New Venture Gear on its GERODISC(TM) product to be used in the next generation of four-wheel-drive transfer cases. The announcement was made by Alain J-M Clenet, president of ASHA Corp. and Erick A. Reickert, president and chief executive officer of New Venture Gear.
The ASHA GERODISC is the latest technology in four-wheel-drive traction control. New Venture Gear entered the agreement after a two- year evaluation of competing technologies. The agreement allows NVG to manufacture and sell the device in transfer case products in North America and Europe.

"We believe our customers will be impressed by the level of refinement this technology will provide to our transfer case products," said Reickert. "In our vehicle tests the GERODISC provided smooth handling and excellent four-wheel-drive traction."
