ASG, a global enterprise software and professional services provider to Global 5000 companies, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Entact Information Security Corporation, a worldwide provider of security management solutions.

Under the agreement, ASG will acquire Entact's security administration and management product suite, which enables companies to deploy an end-to-end solution that improves all aspects of the access provisioning process - user access administration, password management, security workflow and auditing - from a single interface across disparate platforms and applications.

-- Deliver self-service password reset and synchronization to improve productivity;

-- Automate security workflow to streamline request, approval and execution process; and

-- Provide robust security reporting to improve accountability.
