ASBU Consultation Body Calls for upgrading the level of Vocational Qualification.

Damascus, (SANA)-Consultation Body of Arab Center for Radio and Television Training of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), asserted on Saturday that its members are aware of the importance of training journalists and the role of the Center in upgrading the level of vocational qualification for the workers at the Arab bodies, particularly due to the fact that it is witnessing a new stage of development in its training courses and work mechanisms.At the end of their fifth meeting, members of the Consultation Body recommended holding the International Training Forum in Damascus or Tunisia under the patronage of the Union in addition to changing the name of Consultation Body to become Strategic Body for Training at the Center in order to put its general strategies through adapting work mechanisms that would upgrade its performance. They also recommendedAagranting powers to the Center authorizing it to provide training demands and to put the training plan through engineering and programming work groups in addition to exploring training fields along with authorizing it to change according to the latest developments in the domain of radio and television. Members of the Consultation Body asserted their adherence to the recommendations of its fourth meeting and that the bodies would participate in the training plan of the Center.AaThe Consultation Body hailed the efforts exerted by the unions, the organizations and the international training centers cooperating with the ASBU in the field of implementing training plans.
