ASAE plans revision of braking standard for ag equipment.

) plans to revise its engineering standard for braking systems for agricultural field equipment, and interested parties are invited to participate in the project, according to Scott Cedarquist, ASAE Standards Director,

Revisions to ASAE $365.5, Braking System Test Running a complete system for testing purposes. See unit test and testing types. Procedures and Braking Performance Criteria for Agricultural Field Equipment, will reflect state-of-the-art technology and trends in ag equipment, including higher travel speeds and the potential for worldwide harmonization of braking standards.
