Revolutionary Data Mining Solution Provides

Online Access to 100+TB Libraries

At PC Expo/TECHXNY this week, eSystems Inc. and ASACA Corp., a leading developer of high-capacity, high-performance data storage solutions, will demonstrate the fastest, most comprehensive way to get the most out of a company's most valuable resource.

Using ASaP, eSystems' revolutionary multi-dimensional database software combined with ASACA's TeraCart(R) DVD-RAM A rewritable DVD disc endorsed by the DVD Forum. Using phase change technology, DVD-RAMs are like removable hard disks, and the media can be rewritten 100,000 times compared to 1,000 times for DVD-RW and DVD+RW. The first DVD-RAM drives with a capacity of 2.6GB (single sided) or 5.  libraries, attendees can experience a revolutionary new level of data mining, performing accurate, comprehensive searches from terabytes of information.

eSystems' ASaP data mining solution supports more than 200 document formats, including images, sound, video, Web and office documents and provides the means for users to span data across multiple libraries.

Taking full advantage of the TeraCart's unique ability to act as four separate libraries within a single cabinet, ASaP allows users to query across multiple data banks including the Web, corporate Intranets, databases, imaging systems, file servers as well as other sources for more thorough searches.

Once the search is completed, any number of users can review the same report simultaneously. With ASaP's "on-the-fly" structured search capabilities, users can modify search fields and indexes at any time without having to re-index the database.

library helps organizations maximize the value of the ASaP searches by becoming the firm's enterprise-wide information exchange facilitator -- the central repository (1) A database of information about applications software that includes author, data elements, inputs, processes, outputs and interrelationships. A repository is used in a CASE or application development system in order to identify objects and business rules for reuse.  where people throughout the organization can share information and experiences to improve decision-making, productivity and profits.

Working together, the software/hardware solution is capable of indexing Gigabytes of information per day and support for hundreds of simultaneous user queries and displays.

"At PC Expo, we want to show people that today's business Today's Business is a show on CNBC that aired in the early morning, 5 to 7AM ET timeslot, hosted by Liz Claman and Bob Sellers, and it was replaced by Wake Up Call on Feb 4, 2002.  enterprises can be more than simple repositories of massive amounts of data," said Chuck Larabie, vice president of business development for eSystems Inc.

"With ASaP software's comprehensive and highly accurate multi-dimensional searches and the virtually unlimited capacity of the ASACA library, businesses can have the fast access, simplified searches and nearly instant retrieval they need."

"It's the kind of solution that will provide an almost immediate return on investment," said Chris Stone, ASACA's director of marketing. "Combined with our TeraCart libraries, the ASaP software provides an efficient means of sorting through massive amounts of information turning the Terabytes of raw data into a valuable, easily accessible and easily shared information resource."

Price/Availability

ASaP is available through eSystems and many of the leading library and storage software developers with prices starting at $10,000.
