Wagenblast said that winning the award is "truly an honor and the highlight of my professional career. My belief has always been to provide my customers with the best in service and to always put their best interest first. To accomplish this I believe an investment in continuing education and training has played a key role." The 56-year-old Loy owns Mike Loy's Collision, Inc., in Lewisburg, OH, and has been an ASA member for 15 years and active in the collision repair industry since 1972. He has been an I-CAR I-CAR Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair instructor for 19 years and is the lead I-CAR instructor for Ohio. He won the Instructor of the Year award in 1996 for the South Central Region.
