For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming. The Antelope Valley Fair's theme will be ``Ewe Ain't Seem Nothin' Yet,'' fair officials announced. The winning theme, submitted by David and Janice Gantenbein, was picked by fair board directors Wednesday out of 357 entries. ``We feel this theme really challenges those that have attended and enjoyed our great fairs over the last years to come and see just how much better we can do in our new facilities,'' board President LeeRoy Halley said in the theme announcement. The Gantenbeins will be invited to attend the annual fair kickoff dinner and to ride in the Antelope Valley Fair parade. They will receive two tickets to the fair's grandstand entertainment. Artwork and music should reflect the theme as well as communicating that the fair will have a new home in 2004. Artists can submit sketches on any size paper and in any medium, including computer graphics. One winner will be chosen for artwork use on the annual Antelope Valley Fair poster. Other submissions could be used in advertising, and in the fair magazine. Entries will not be returned. Jingles should be submitted on a standard cassette A removable magnetic tape storage module that contains supply and takeup reels (hubs) in the same housing. Most audio tapes and videotapes use cassettes as well as backup tape technologies such as DAT, 8mm and Magstar MP (see below). tape or CD and can each contain up to six entries. They must be original tunes and include the words of the theme, ``Ewe Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet.'' Jingles must be adaptable a·dapt·a·ble adj. Capable of adapting or of being adapted. a·dapt a·bil to 30- and 60-second spots.
Entrants must submit a music-only version as well.
Deadline for art and jingle entries is Jan. 16, 2003.
