ARTiSAN DOORS Synchronizer Provides Bi-directional Requirements

Traceability Throughout Development Lifecycle

ARTiSAN Software Tools, Inc. and Quality Systems & Software Inc., (QSS) today jointly announced the availability of ARTiSAN DOORS Synchronizer, a product that links ARTiSAN's Real-time Studio modeling tool suite with QSS' DOORS requirements management tool. The joint-announcement was made at the Embedded Systems Conference held this week in San Jose.

ARTiSAN DOORS Synchronizer enables developers using the two products to capture system requirements in DOORS and trace fulfillment throughout the system definition and design phases in Real-time Studio. The two-way integration also allows each design artifact in Real-time Studio to be traced back to the specific system requirement and trace forward to test cases in DOORS.

Joint Marketing Agreement

ARTiSAN and QSS also announced a joint marketing agreement whereby both companies will be working together on sales calls, trade shows and seminars specifically targeted to the embedded systems market.

used to access the impact of changes to requirements on the code

as well as the analysis and design models in Real-time Studio.

- Automatic Synchronization: The Synchronizer automatically keeps

DOORS objects up-to-date with their corresponding Real-time

Studio model elements in response to operations carried out by

Real-time Studio or DOORS.
