ARTISTS CAN WIN CASH ENTERING CONTESTS EXPERTS, AMATEURS INVITED TO COMPETE.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER - Artists are invited to compete in the 17th Annual Juried All Media Art Exhibition and the California Poppy California poppy: see poppy. Festival Art Contest, Lancaster Museum Art Gallery officials said. The juried art exhibition will run from Feb. 2 to March 10 at the art gallery. Judging the competition will be Christina Newhouse, the curator at the City of Torrance-Joslyn Fine Arts Museum. She will pick the pieces to be displayed at the exhibition as well as the winners of $850 in cash awards. Prize awards were donated by several local organizations. Lancaster Museum/Art Gallery Associates will provide the $200 first place, $150 second place and $100 third place awards, and $100 LMAG LMAG London Motorists Action Group (UK) LMAG London Market Actuaries' Group Associates Members' Award.
