LANCASTER - Watercolors, digital images, photographs, sculptures and dolls are among the pieces by 11 Acton and Agua Dulce Agua Dulce is Spanish for "sweet water". It also refers to various locations:

 artists that go on display today at the Lancaster Museum Art Gallery.

The show opens with a reception for the artists from noon to 4 p.m. today at the gallery, 44801 Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling .

Artists showing works include:

--Dave Beaumont, an architect whose art depicts the open spaces of the Vaquez Rocks area.

--Steve Beaumont, a graphic designer whose medium for the show is a Macintosh computer on which he creates digital landscapes and contemporary images.

--Silvina Day, who creates portraits and depictions of animals.

--Linda Ewing, who tailors for movie stars and has created ``art dolls'' since the late 1980s.

--Toni Haigh, best known for paintings of race horses that hang at Santa Anita Santa Anita may refer to:

--Joe Tracy, a freelance illustrator specializing in portraits, caricatures, storyboards, character design and illustrations. He has done works for Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger (German pronunciation (IPA): [ˈaɐ̯nɔlt ˈaloɪ̯s ˈʃvaɐ̯ʦənˌʔɛɡɐ] , Tom Cruise and Nicolas Cage.

--Glenn Vilppu, a teacher of drawing and painting for 45 years who has published books, videos and DVDs on drawing.

--Tandy Zorba, whose favorite subjects are children.

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. For information, call (661) 723-6250.
