Jacobs Gallery to host

musical instrument show

The Fine Art of the Instrument Maker, an exhibit of work by eight musical instrument builders in Oregon, opens with a reception at 5:30 p.m. Friday and continues through July 22 at the Jacobs Gallery in the Hult Center.

Orientation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the center, 1910 E. 15th Ave.

Volunteer benefits include free admission to the festival, a T-shirt for those working two or more shifts and a volunteer recognition party.

DIVA mounts show

of manipulated Polaroids

``Visualizing Eden,'' a show of photography by Group 669: Photo Art, runs through June at DIVA, 110 W. Broadway.

Group 669 was started in 2001 by photographer Jane Keating.

Its members use manipulated Polaroid processes to create new imagery.

Members include Sean Ben-Safed, Mary Brentano, Natasia Chan, Joae Murphy Cremer, Christine Eagon, Char Eickholt, LeeAnn Gauthier, Barbara Gilbert, Flo McWillis, Randy Rasmussen Randall Lee Rasmussen (born May 10, 1945 in St. Paul, Nebraska) was an American football guard for fifteen seasons for the New York Jets, beginning with the 1967 American Football League season. , Kimberly Taylor and Monica Wheeler.
