ART CENTER PAYS VISIT TO `TOWN'.

Cedar cedar, common name for a number of trees, mostly coniferous evergreens. The true cedars belong to the small genus Cedrus of the family Pinaceae (pine family).  Street Theatre will open its 21st season with a presentation of Thornton Wilder's classic ``Our Town.''

``Our Town'' will be directed by Daniella Kosman, with Al Kroft, a veteran of more than a dozen films and television productions, in the role of the stage manager.

A private screening will be held for more than 750 students from area high and middle schools today, funded by a grant provided by the Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation.

Cedar Street season tickets, which include ``Our Town,'' ``I Hate Hamlet I Hate Hamlet is a dramatic comedy written in 1992 by Paul Rudnick. Set in John Barrymore's old apartment in New York City, the play follows successful television actor Andrew Rally as he struggles with taking on the dream role of Hamlet, dealing with a girlfriend who is keeping a ,'' ``Laughter on the 23rd Floor'' and the musical ``Annie,'' are available for $52. Individual tickets are available for $15. Tickets can be bought by mail, at the box office or by calling (805) 723-5950.
