The free event, which cost taxpayers about $15,000, fell victim to budget cuts because voters in 1997 rejected Measure P, which would have paid for park upkeep and other projects. But some residents said the council made the right decision when it didn't include money for the display in this year's budget. ``It's not that we don't like the fireworks display; it's a matter that we can't afford it,'' said Tony Simen, who lives near Virginia Virginia, state, United States Virginia, state of the south-central United States. But Lashmet, who has attended the Moorpark display with his younger brother Wiki is aware of the following uses of "'Younger Brother":
