Man stabbed by attacker
A 34-year-old Van Nuys man walking from his mailbox was stabbed twice Christmas Day when he refused to give a robber $20, police said Wednesday.
The man had been walking from the mailbox at his home to his car in the 7300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard when he was approached by a man demanding money, police said.
