Some of the names and faces may seem familiar if slightly out of place. Others most likely are completely unfamiliar. Thirteen celebrities and four professional drivers will face off at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the Pro/Celebrity Race. Some of the celebrities have Hollywood ties: model/actress Carol Alt Carol Alt (born December 1 1960) is an American supermodel and actress. Stewart has won 14 Baja off-road races. Also making a stop in Long Beach will be the Indy Lights tour, a sort of Triple-A farm circuit for CART. Many CART drivers worked their way onto the big Tour in the cockpits of Indy Light cars. Among the drivers on this year's tour are last year's champion and current points leader David Empringham. Also running will be cousins Clint and Casey Mears, sons of racing legends Rick and Roger Mears. Another driver with a famous racing father is Robby Unser, son of Bobby Unser and cousins of Al Unser Jr. The Indy Lights championship race will run at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, immediately preceding the Long Beach Grand Prix
