Class set tonight to help children adjust
PALMDALE -- The city is taking registrations for a course on helping separated or divorced parents reduce conflict while children adjust.
Classes start today and run to Oct. 7. Sessions will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays. For information on "Cooperative Parenting and Divorce," call 661-267-5665.
Woman apparently died a natural death
LANCASTER -- Authorities reported Monday that a woman whose body was found in Lancaster over the weekend apparently died from natural causes and was not stabbed to death, as originally thought. The body was discovered at 27th Street West and Avenue L-8 about 8:10 p.m. Saturday.

Library design session scheduled Wednesday
SANTA CLARITA -- The city of Santa Clarita is hosting a community workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday for the Downtown Newhall Library project.
Residents will participate in group discussions and exercises with the library design team.
