ARMENIAN TEACHERS GLIMPSE U.S. JUSTICE.

GLENDALE - A group of teachers visiting the Southland from Armenia got an introduction to the American justice American Justice is an hour-long criminal justice program on the cable channel A&E Network, hosted by Bill Kurtis. The show features interesting or notable cases, such as the Scarsdale Diet doctor murder, the Hillside Stranglers, Selena Murder of a Star, Matthew Shepard, or the  system Thursday from the Glendale Police Department.

The 14 instructors will take their experiences back to Armenian classrooms and launch discussions and interactive projects, which the Soviet-style education system has not offered, said Beth Broussalian, coordinator of the Civic Education Training Program.

At the police station, spokesman Chahe Keuroghelian gave the group a quick introduction to American laws, shedding light on cultural differences.
