 ARMCO OFFICE WORKERS VOTE TO JOIN STEELWORKERS
 ASHLAND, Ky., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Office and technical workers


employed here by Armco Steel have voted by a 2-1 margin to become members of the United Steelworkers of America (USW), the union said today.
 The vote, held Feb. 27, was 77-38 in favor of the USW. The unit will represent 125 workers.
 The campaign was directed by Homer Moore, an organizer in USW District 23.
 "The new members have recognized that they can best serve their interests through the collective bargaining process," said Jim Bowen, director of District 23. "We're proud they have chosen the USW to represent them."
