ARL Awards $32 Million IT Contract to STG.

RESTON, Va. -- STG announced today that it has been awarded a 3-year, $32 million task order from the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). Under this task order, which was bid under the U.S. Army's ITES-2S contract vehicle, STG will continue to provide IT services, systems integration, high performance computer (HPC) support, and graphics and administrative support.

Since 1999, STG has successfully provided IT support services to ARL and has been a catalyst for many improvement initiatives. Among its significant achievements, STG helped develop ARL's Enterprise Management Center (EMC) -- a knowledge capture and management environment that supports ARL scientists and the entire Department of Defense scientific community.

"It is a validation of our past efforts that ARL once again selected STG as the best-value solution to fill their IT and technology needs and achieve their mission," said Paul Fernandes, STG Senior Vice President, Defense Sector. "We are part of a team. Their success is our success."

Working under an ITIL framework, STG will rely on proprietary process improvement initiatives and industry best practices to ensure increased productivity across the ARL enterprise. Working with teammates Exeter and ZeNETeX, Team STG will continue to support ARL's mission to provide innovative science, technology and analysis to enable full-spectrum operations.

"For almost 10 years, STG has promoted teamwork across the enterprise to bring ARL the best services possible," said Simon Lee, STG President and CEO. "It all comes back to our Circle of Success: By supporting our employees in every way possible, our employees have the resources and motivation to fully support our customer, who, in turn, keeps inviting us back. I am proud of our work at ARL and look forward to continuing our mutually successful relationship."
