ARK RESTAURANTS REPORTS THIRD FISCAL QUARTER RESULTS.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1995--Ark Restaurants Corp. reported net sales Net Sales

This amount is calculated by subtracting the following items from gross sales: merchandise returned for credit, allowances for damaged or missing goods, freight
 of $21,047,000 for the third fiscal quarter ended July 1, 1995 compared with $17,793,000 for the fiscal quarter ended July 2, 1994. Net income for the latest quarter was $636,000, or $.20 per share, compared with $771,000, or $.24 per share, in the prior year's quarter. The results of the quarter and the nine months were also impacted by $450,000, or $.08 per share after tax, from the settlement of a claim at one of the company's New York restaurants. We currently expect the results of the fourth fiscal quarter to substantially exceed the $.14 we earned in last year's fourth quarter."
