ARINC Names Stephen Waechter as Vice President and CFO.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- ARINC Incorporated today announced the appointment of Stephen L. Waechter as the company's Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Waechter brings to ARINC extensive credentials in senior financial positions, most recently as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Executive Vice President at CACI International Inc. of Arlington, VA. Before joining CACI, Mr. Waechter served as CFO for a number of high-technology companies including Government Technology Services, Inc. (GTSI) of Chantilly and Applied Bioscience International of Arlington.

John M. Belcher, ARINC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, welcomed Mr. Waechter and noted that his wide industry experience and financial background are a solid fit for ARINC's growth plans.

Mr. Belcher commented, "Steve's career path is impressive and includes a rise through the ranks at General Electric, where he was Vice President, Finance for GE Information Systems. In his latest position at CACI, one of the largest government IT contractors with 70% of revenues coming from the Department of Defense, Steve helped to move the company from $400 million in revenue to $2 billion in eight years. He has an extensive background in financial analysis and acquisitions, and his experience with Government and Department of Defense customers has prepared him well for a significant role in ARINC's future. Mr. Waechter holds an MBA in Finance from Xavier University and a BA from Christian Brothers College. He lives with his family in Darnestown, MD.
