ARI received the award in the Technology/Internet category. The IQ Awards were presented at the Wisconsin Business & Technology Expo in Milwaukee on April 21, 2005.

"The IQ Awards recognize companies that are creating a positive impact on the region through innovative best practices. These awards showcase the strengths of the Southeastern Wisconsin business community and recognize companies with unique strategies for corporate innovation and growth," said Steve Jagler, executive editor of Small Business Times.

"The IQ Awards and the I-Q Corridor -- the upper Midwest The Upper Midwest is a region of the United States with no universally agreed-upon boundary, but it almost always lies within the US Census Bureau's definition of the Midwest and includes the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as at least the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  region's intellectual property driven business corridor stretching from Minneapolis to Chicago, rich in biotech bi·o·tech

"The IQ Awards value innovation; the I-Q Corridor captures our region's future as a place for the best ideas, innovation, intellectual property and investment -- as well as quality of life, education and environment," added Still. "ARI exemplifies the spirit of the IQ Awards. Innovation is a part of daily life within ARI, which has grown from a start-up firm into a publicly traded company publicly traded company

with major clients across Wisconsin and beyond. With more innovative companies such as ARI, the Wisconsin economy will continue to grow," concluded Still.

In accepting the award, Brian E. Dearing, chairman and chief executive officer of ARI said, "Our strategy is to take information technology solutions that have helped large companies do business more efficiently and cost effectively and adapt them for our base of manufactured equipment dealers, who are all small business owners. This award is really for our employees who create our products and serve the 28,000-plus dealers who use ARI solutions in their businesses. Without our employees and the customers they serve, we would not have received this recognition."

ARI was selected from dozens of award nominations submitted to Small Business Times. The IQ Awards, which were presented in 10 categories, were judged by an independent panel of Wisconsin business executives.
