AREW lines up hotel experts for February luncheon.


At its Tuesday, February 7 luncheon, the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW) will present a panel of top experts from the hotel industry who will address current market trends, such as the effect of rooms being converted to private condominium residences and the burgeoning number of small, boutique hotels opening around Manhattan.

The program will be moderated by Kimberly Moffitt Hehir, vice president of strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. , The Leading Hotels of the World.

The luncheon will be held at Club 101, 101 Park Avenue at 40th Street. An hour of networking begins at 11:30 AM, followed by the luncheon and program. There is no charge for AREW members. Cost for AREW nonmembers is $100. There is a $10 surcharge for walk-ins.

Moderator Kimberly Moffitt Hehir is responsible for managing The Leading Hotels of the World's eleven joint ventures and ancillary businesses, including The Leading Residences of the World, a luxury destination club launched in July 2005.
