The two tribal organizations will discuss ways to interact utilizing the I-35 Corridor The I-35 Corridor is a megalopolis in the southern plains region of the United States. It runs from San Antonio, Texas to Kansas City, Missouri along Interstate 35. The corridor includes the cities of Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Wichita. as well as housing initiatives, Constitutional issues and other economic developments. The I-35 Corridor Coalition was established in 1996 by a NAFTA NAFTA in full North American Free Trade Agreement Trade pact signed by Canada, the U.S., and Mexico in 1992, which took effect in 1994. Inspired by the success of the European Community in reducing trade barriers among its members, NAFTA created the world's Initiative to promote commerce and cultural exchange between Winnipeg, Canada and Monterrey, Mexico by way of Interstate Highway 35. The Initiative allows for the establishment of duty free trade zones along the I-35 Corridor.
