So he is compiling a list of Santa Clarita residents on duty all over the world. That list has grown to more than 100 names, and once it's complete he will distribute it to anyone who asks.

``I'm really proud, very proud, of all our sons and daughters,'' Horman said Friday. ``I'm hoping this list will be passed around and people will remember these kids and the sacrifices they're making and they'll pray for them.''

Horman is a firm believer that coalition casualties have been relatively light because America is praying for its servicemen and -women.

To compile his list, he e-mailed all the employees in the Hart District and visited military recruiters in Santa Clarita. He wants names, ranks and mailing addresses. The information can be e-mailed to him at billhorman(at)hartdistrict.org.

``It's for anyone in the community who has anyone in the military - in the Middle East, the Philippines, Kosovo, Korea ... Anywhere they are, they're risking their lives for our freedoms,'' he said.
