David E. Harmon, co-founder, president and chief executive officer of Woodland Hills-based information technology lessor El Camino Resources Ltd., was named Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year.

Robert Walston, chairman and chief executive officer of Burbank-based postproduction company Four Media Co., was named Business Services Entrepreneur of the Year.

Joel Marcus, chief executive officer of Pasadena-based Real Estate Investment Trust Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc., was named Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year.

Other Los Angeles area Entrepreneurs of the Year were named in the Internet, technology, software, health care, master and manufacturing categories.

The winners are eligible to participate in the national Entrepreneur of the Year competition. National winners will be announced at a black-tie affair Nov. 13 in Palm Springs as part of the Entrepreneur of the Year Institute National Conference.
