ARDKILL THRILL; GREYHOUND GUIDE.

Byline: Thomas Gilmartin

SUNDERLAND stage the semis of the Grand Prix Grand Prix
n. pl. Grand Prix
Any of several competitive international road races for sports cars of specific engine size over an exacting, usually risky course.
 so straight down to business.

East County has proved very profitable to follow, so too Lenson Joker but both may have to improve to get anywere near CROWN ROVER (7.30) who is well boxed again.

In the second semi final Wordsandatune will have many supporters and should hold of Head Iton Toby once again but I am giving one last chance to BUBBLY TOTTI (7.47) in the hope of a faster start.

The last semi is hard to call with trouble likely. Droopys Carvahlo can go close but best drawn has to be HURLEYS HERO (8.04) who may lead all the way.

In the first semi final of the William Hill The name William Hill may refer to the following: People
  • William Hill (Australian politician) (1866-1939), a long serving member of the Australian House of Representatives.
Classic Jogadusc Ace is drawn to perfection Adv. 1. to perfection - in every detail; "the new house suited them to a T"
just right, to a T, to the letter
on the rails but if DROOPYS BOGART (8.20) stays clear of trouble he can nick this.

In the second semi MILL PINPOINT (8.36) was slowly away last week but stayed on well. With a decent start he will be hard to beat although Mario Gomez has the perfect draw to go close.

In the last semi my nap of the night ARDKILL TUNOCO (8.52) will take some stopping with his phenomenal early pace.

WIMBLEDON: In the hurdle event The Other Outlaw will go close but PLATINUMLANCELOT (7.30) and Bomber Bailey may be too strong with the Lance coming out on top.

NINJA JAMIE (8.02) will find this race a lot easier than last Saturday.

In the marathon, Vatican Iona would appreciate longer and MIDWAY SKIPPER (9.42) can take full advantage early doors.

Windy Millar has potential in this hot race but may have to play second best to BANDICOOT bandicoot, small marsupial mammal native to Australia and nearby islands. There are 19 species in eight genera. Bandicoots have long, pointed, shrewlike faces; gray or brown fur; and long, bushy, ratlike tails.  TIPOKI (9.58).

In the seniors COBRA STRIKING is going for four in a row with

Droopys Nelson his main danger.

SHAWFIELD: The Paddy Power Irish Derby trial stakes looks sure to attract a big crowd tonight.

(Race 4) The first open race action sees many local greyhounds in with chances. Fitothewalk would go close if getting a clear run, Ballylaw My Man is one to keep a close eye on any market moves but I am siding with FARLOE PATH.

(Race 8) is the trial stakes and looks a tight one. Whoever leads early doors will be hard to peg back and SNIPER PETRA is well drawn to do this although Mulclair Storm will have a say along with Miss Majestic.

On the handicap front there are a few value bets on offer.

(Race 2) MARSHALLS ANGEL has been given another decent chance by the handicapper hand·i·cap·per

Noun 1.

(Race 3) Love Patch should go close but may have to settle for second best with HAMONDS JAYTEE coming out on top.

(Race 5) BALLYLAW KELLY is off a great mark tonight and if holding his position early doorscan win this in convincing fashion.

(Race 10) TOBI LEGEND won for us last week and he can double up for us tonight.

(Race 11) Boysinmaroon is likely to go off a hot favourite again tonight but HAMMYS BULLYBOY bul·ly·boy
n.
1. An aggressive or pugnacious fellow; a tough.

2. A hired thug; a goon.
