ARCOMS Announces Director of Government Markets for Innovative Communications Technologies Inc. Subsidiary.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2001

Advanced Remote Communication Solutions Inc. (ARCOMS) (OTCBB:BTRK.OB) announced today that David A. Brooks has been appointed director of Government Markets for Innovative Communications Technologies Inc. (ICTI), one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries.

In this newly created position, Brooks will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business development and market opportunities for government markets, reporting directly to Moe Abutaleb, president of ICTI.

Brooks brings a broad array of experience in satellite telecommunications and Total Quality Management. Most recently, he served as project director for British Telecom Aeronautical and Maritime (BT A&M). Prior to joining BT A&M, Brooks was employed by TDS Inc. as a program director in its Commercial Systems division, where he developed and implemented sales and marketing plans to secure U.S. Navy and government contracts. In addition, he has held a variety of positions with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM).

Brooks is a retired U.S. Navy Commander. He graduated from the University of Hartford with a Masters degree in Education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College.
