ARCELOR: 2006 Annual Results.


LUXEMBOURG -- The Board of Directors' meeting held on February 20th, 2007 under the chairmanship of Joseph Kinsch reviewed the financial elements of the Arcelor Group and Arcelor SA for 2006.

After completion of Mittal Steel's offer and mandatory sell out procedure, Arcelor is a subsidiary of Mittal Steel. Mittal Steel is now listed under the name Arcelor Mittal1.

Mittal Steel and Arcelor are actively preparing their merger that they aim to complete by July 2007.

In 2006, the Arcelor Group realized revenues of 40.6 billion euros, an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) A metric used to show a company's profitability, but not its cash flow. EBITDA became popular in the 1980s to show the potential profitability of leveraged buyouts, but has become  of 5.9 billion euros and a net profit, Group share of 3 billion euros.

Arcelor shares remain listed on the stock exchanges of Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg and on the Spanish stock exchanges of Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia.

As indicated in the company's coordinated articles of association, Arcelor's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held in Luxembourg on April 27th, 2007.

The Group recognises actuarial gains and losses immediately in shareholders' equity Shareholders' Equity
