ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller Awarded Five-Year, $43.3 Million Contract With U.S. EPA for Laboratory Support.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1998--ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller was recently awarded a five-year, $43.3 million contract for on-site laboratory support of the EPA's Air Pollution Prevention and Control Division (APPCD) of the National Risk Management Research Laboratory.

Work on the contract began this month. At the conclusion of this contract, ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller will have provided 27 consecutive years of support to the EPA laboratory.

The goal of the APPCD is to characterize sources of air pollution and to evaluate or develop approaches and technologies for preventing or controlling emissions. By drawing upon the expertise of ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller's scientific laboratory staff, the EPA has access to experts in the fields of fossil fuel combustion, hazardous and municipal waste incineration, waste to energy, pollution emission control and characterization, indoor air quality, global climate change, industrial pollution prevention, and a host of specialized analytical services.
