: ARCS) has charged Microcom Technologies, Inc. of Calabasas, California, with infringing its U.S. Patent No. 5,829,121 directed to ARC Wireless' methods for manufacturing panel antennas. ARC Wireless' Complaint also alleges copyright infringement, trade dress infringement and unfair competition claims. ARC Wireless seeks monetary damages resulting from the infringements and unfair competition as well as permanent injunctions enjoining en·join

ARC Wireless was granted its patent in November of 1998 and has been selling products for Multichannel Using two or more paths for transmission or processing. It can refer to a variety of architectures including (1) multiple I/O channels between the CPU and peripheral devices, (2) multiple wires in a cable, (3) multiple "logical" channels within a single wire or fiber or (4) multiple  Multipoint Distribution Systems (MMDS (Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service or Microwave Multipoint Distribution Service) A digital wireless transmission system that works in the 2.2-2.4 GHz range. ) and recently Wi-Fi panel antenna solutions for several varying applications.
