See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB).
: ARCS) announced today that it has received notice from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that the patent for its Microstrip Fed Log Periodic Antenna application will be granted on April 26, 2005, with Patent No. 6,885,350. With the issuance of this patent, the Company will further expand its cellular base station antenna technology.

The advantage of the patented technology is the ability to achieve improved network performance by reducing passive intermodulation in·ter·mod·u·la·tion
n.
Modulation of the frequencies of electromagnetic waves occurring when the waves interact as they are transmitted through a nonlinear electronic system.
. Passive intermodulation is a type of signal distortion which can produce spurious signals. When consumer usage of a wireless cellular network increases, passive intermodulation interference can decrease the performance of the wireless cellular network.

"This technology addresses the increasing concerns of quality of service due to system capacity increases," stated Steven C. Olson, Chief Technology Officer. "This patent approval validates the Company's vision for wireless solutions and technology leadership, reflecting the Company's history of intellectual property development," Mr. Olson added.
