ARC's Growth Drives Expansion in Staff and Consulting Services.

The ARC Advisory Group has experienced 60% growth in demand for its services and added executive talent to both its consulting and advisory services. Several senior executives were hired as part of an expansion program, according to ARC President Andy Chatha.

Business Growth

"ARC has experienced continued growth in our E-Business Consulting and Advisory Services from our B2B and manufacturing client base," Chatha said. "Added to this, has been the strong performance of our overseas divisions, particularly in Europe where manufacturers are looking to emulate the new U.S. economic strategy of growth through increased productivity."

ARC has developed six new strategic services. For end users, RFQ Preparation & Supplier Selection lowers costs and develops supplier selection best practices; the Technology Platform & Architecture Selection Service facilitates enterprise application integration with plant systems; and the Plant & Supply Chain Assessments forecasts ROI and performs benchmark analysis. For suppliers, the Web Contents and Marketing Service provides industry news for Websites and generates leads through webcasting; the Mergers & Acquisition Service taps into ARC's experience before investing or divesting and identifies potential acquisition candidates, while the E-Business Consulting Service develops E-Business strategies and performs technology platform assessments of B2B portals.

Employee Growth

"We are continuing to add senior industry executives to our staff to broaden and deepen the scope of our consulting services," Chatha said. Recent senior appointments include two vice presidents, a marketing director, and four senior analysts - two of them in Europe.

William B. Moore, the former CEO and President of Moore Products, has become the Vice President of Strategic Consulting, and will be taking the lead to expand ARC's management consulting services. Bill, who retired from Moore after the company's acquisition by Siemens AG, began his career at Moore as a development engineer. He also has been a plant engineer, plant manager, and Vice President of Operations Planning, as well as the chief technology officer, the Vice Chairman of the Board at Moore, and a member of the Board's executive committee.

Andy Peters, most recently the Director of Business Development at Honeywell IAC, has become the Vice President of Strategic Consulting. Andy, who handled acquisitions, divestitures, investor relations, strategic planning, and business intelligence for Honeywell's President of Industrial Control, had previous positions at Honeywell as the Director of Strategic Marketing, the Manager of Business and Competitor Analysis, and the Principal Marketing Manager. He also has held senior positions at FutureNet-Data I/O and ITT Barton Instruments.

Ralph Rio, ARC's new Director of Marketing, spent the last four years as the Manager of Marketing for GE Fanuc's CIMPLICITY business where he managed marketing communications, product management, and inside sales. Prior to that, he was Intellution's Senior Product Marketing Manager for their FIX software products. He also spent six years at Digital Equipment Corp. after a dozen years as an engineer at various levels with Motorola, Texas Instruments, and General Electric.
