The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award honors organizations that demonstrate a commitment to employees' psychological health and well-being. Companies are evaluated in several areas, including employee involvement in the organization's mission and vision, work/life balance, employee growth and development opportunities, and workplace health and safety.

"Creating a strong, productive work environment means offering employees a fair, safe and balanced workplace that helps them achieve to the best of their abilities," says Ross DeSimone, a partner at Delta Consultants and chair of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association's Business and Psychology Partnership Committee. "ARAMARK demonstrated that its commitment to providing its employees with a great place to work was head and shoulders above the rest."

ARAMARK will receive the award on June 16, 2005 at the 2005 Annual Convention of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association in Harrisburg, Pa.
