ARAMARK Helps Two Schools Take Top Honors in Nationwide Recycling Competition; Company announces support for Earth Day with several environmentally conscious programs.

RecycleMania is a competition that challenges colleges and universities to collect recyclables over 10 weeks to raise awareness of environmental and conservation issues. Nearly 100 schools participated in RecycleMania 2006. The program is endorsed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's WasteWise program, the National Recycling Coalition's College and University Recycling Council, and the National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology Program.

This year, Oregon State University collected the most recyclables and took first place in the highest Per Capita competition. Northwest Missouri State University placed fifth in the Grand Champion competition, which consists of schools that participate in both the Per Capita and the Waste Minimization categories.
