CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2001

ARAMARK Uniform Services, a leading supplier of uniforms and career apparel to over 1.5 million people at more than 450,000 businesses worldwide, kicks off their national promotion campaign by giving away a Grand Prize Trip to the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis.

The promotion was developed to increase awareness of the company and the findings of a newly released study that shows consumers prefer people in uniforms.

ARAMARK Uniform Services teamed up with Bill "Seg" Dennison, the top jock on Cincinnati's sports/talk station, 700 WLW-AM, to give away the prize. ARAMARK and Dennison will also give free lunches to workers who listen to the station and show up at remote broadcast locations around the city wearing their work uniforms.

Everyone at these events will be encouraged to enter into the Grand Prize Drawing for the trip to Indianapolis.

ARAMARK Uniform Services will award the lucky Grand Prize Winner from Cincinnati with an expense paid VIP trip for two to the Brickyard 400. The prize includes limousine transportation to Indianapolis with Dennison at the winner's side, as well as premier hotel accommodations and extra spending cash.

ARAMARK Uniform Services provides uniform leasing, rental and direct purchase uniform programs to area businesses from government to airlines and automotive plants to supermarkets and convenience stores.

"ARAMARK's customized uniform programs can raise the profile of a business by reflecting the qualities of a professional organization," says Derek Longshore, Marketing Manager at ARAMARK. "We can provide a comprehensive image program to help any company gain an advantage over competitors. We are a major image maker for today's businesses."

According to a recent study sponsored by the Uniform and Textile Services Association (UTSA), consumers are likely to equate well-dressed or uniformed employees with attributes such as honesty, product knowledge and pride - qualities important to today's consumers.

ARAMARK Corporation is a $7.3 billion world leader in providing managed services - uniforms and career apparel, food services and facilities management, as well as child care and early education programs. Headquartered in Philadelphia, ARAMARK has more than 170,000 employees serving 15 million people at 500,000 locations in 15 countries every day.
