ARAMARK Chosen to Provide Food Services at St. Louis Public Schools.

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 2004

ARAMARK (NYSE:RMK) has been chosen to manage the food service program for the 38,500 students at St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) in Missouri.

Responding quickly to the needs of the district, ARAMARK received a 5-0 approval vote from the SLPS Board on February 26 and worked with administration and current food service employees to begin operations March 1, 2004.

The contract covers the remainder of the school year, and offers four one-year renewal options for food services and catering for the district. Annual sales are estimated at $17.5 million.

SLPS students will benefit from the introduction of One World Cafe(R), ARAMARK's award-winning school dining concept that offers updated menu offerings based on extensive student preference surveys in a vibrant, more consumer-savvy environment.
