ARABS-ISRAEL - July 22 - PA Seeks Arrest Of Israeli Ministers.

PA Minister Hassan Asfour tells Voice of Palestine Radio: "I demand that Rehavem Zeevi and Avigdor Lieberman are detained and interrogated for their role in the killing of three Palestinians by settlers. They planned the attack, they met with radical settlers in Hebron two days before the killing, they are involved in organising terrorist groups". (He refers to the killing of three Palestinians, including a 3-month-old baby, on July 19 - see last week's Recorder. Israeli Tourism Minister Zeevi and Infrastructure Minister Lieberman advocate a harsh line against the PA. Lieberman has in recent weeks called for the liquidation of Palestinian "terrorists" and the destruction of the PA. FM Peres condemned the killing as "horrifying and abominable. These people brought shame to the Jewish people and disaster to Israel. They are cowards and if they had a drop of self-respect, they would go to the nearest police station and turn themselves in"). PA intelligence chief Amin Al Hindi tells Voice of Palestine: "I will hand over information and names of the killers to the Israeli side when we meet Wednesday (July 25) and we will provide the Americans with full information on the individuals and groups involved in the attack".
