ARABS-ISRAEL - Jan. 11 - Sharon Repudiates Oslo Accord.Likud Likud Coalition of Israeli right-wing political parties. It was created by the 1973 merger of the Herut Party (1948) and the Liberal Party (1961), which itself was a merger of the General Zionists and the Progressives. leader Sharon tells a Hasidic magazine: "The Oslo accord is an agreement that no longer exists" (referring to the Sept. 1993 interim Israeli-PA peace pact). He says the peace accord was "self-destructed" in the last few months of violence. "When I talk about painful concessions, I mean we're not going to reconquer Re`con´quer v. t. 1.
