ARAB-ISLAMIC AFFAIRS - Sept. 27 - Zawahiri Tape Urges Musharraf Ouster.Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya air an audio tape purporting to come from Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri Ayman Muhammad Rabaie al-Zawahiri (Arabic: أيمن محمد ربيع الظواهر?) or closer to the original Arabic pronunciation , in which he urges Pakistanis to overthrow President Musharraf for "betraying" Islam and Muslims around the world to fight the Christian-Zionist crusade "aimed at eradicating Islam and Muslims". The voice on the tape blasts the Pakistani president for aiding the US in its war in Afghanistan against Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, and accuses him of planning to send Muslim troops to Iraq "to be killed instead of American soldiers". The voice adds: "Muslims in Pakistan must unite to oust oust tr.v. oust·ed, oust·ing, ousts 1. To eject from a position or place; force out: "the American Revolution, which ousted the English" Virginia S. Eifert. this traitor TRAITOR, crimes. One guilty of treason. 2. The punishment of a traitor is death. and put in place a loyal leadership in Pakistan which defends Islam and Muslims". Zawahiri, Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man, appeared with him in a videotape videotape Magnetic tape used to record visual images and sound, or the recording itself.
