APC 4.5 for TriTune is the automation component for the TriTune product that makes Application Quality Management (AQM) easier and more productive. Because APC 4.5 for TriTune automates over 90 percent of the AQM process, it makes performance tuning initiatives more productive by reducing analysis time and focusing analyst efforts on applications with the greatest tuning potential. It does this by continuously tracking thousands of batch and online systems running across z/OS-based DB2 environments, discovering runaway tasks, and highlighting hidden tuning opportunities with minimal manual intervention. Among other enhancements, the newest release collects performance information for CICS Transactions and shows a significantly improved baseline.

DSPC 1.5 is a performance analysis solution for conducting intense performance tuning on dynamic SQL workloads in z/OS-based DB2 environments. DSPC optimizes individual dynamic SQL statements that originate either from mainframe or distributed applications. By providing statement level granularity with a negligible amount of overhead, DSPC bridges the gap in the performance management process for monitoring dynamic SQL statements.
