This transaction provides an expedient process to support Ericsson's strategic initiative to offer the leading innovative shelter solution in the market for 3G wireless technologies. The preferred supply agreement is the alternative transaction to the previously announced divesture Di`ves´ture n. 1. Divestiture. strategy (May 23, 2000).
