APW Ltd. Announces Organizational Changes.

WAUKESHA, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 2001

APW Ltd. (NYSE: APW), the leading global Technically Enabled Manufacturing Services "TEMS" company, announced today a realignment of reporting relationships within its executive organization. The leaders for the Integrated Systems product lines for both the Americas and Europe/Asia, as well as Thermal Management will now report directly to Richard G. Sim, Chief Executive Officer of APW Ltd. These reporting changes will facilitate closer alignment of core product lines to more cohesively pursue the APW strategy of being the global leader in supplying large integrated electronic enclosure systems to leading telecom and enterprise hardware OEM's through Tier 1 relationships.

Bill Blackmore and Kash Pandya are the Product Line Leaders of Integrated Systems for Americas and Europe/Asia, respectively. Using the technical competence of a global engineering team and three New Product Introduction Centers located in the US and Europe, as well as the most extensive global footprint in the industry, Integrated Systems has the design, test and manufacturing breadth to support customers on a global basis.

Rick Carroll is the Business Leader for the Thermal Management product line with locations in the US and Europe, which provides global design and manufacturing services in support of integrated systems, outdoor enclosures and shelters as well as independently selling stand-alone sub-systems.

The change in reporting responsibility for Bill Blackmore, Kash Pandya and Rick Carroll will be effective immediately.

Also announced today is the resignation of Guus Boel as Executive Leader for Europe/Asia. His resignation is effective as of the end of February 2001. Additionally, the Company advised that Bill Albrecht, Executive Leader for the Americas, is out on medical leave.
