APS Named American Business Awards Finalist for Second Consecutive Year.

APS has been named one of nine finalists in the second annual American Business Awards(SM) in the Customer Service Team category. APS' Online Customer Service team was recognized for the second consecutive year because of its successful Web-based customer care program.

Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post (Sept. 22, 2002), The American Business Awards(SM) are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. The award recognizes outstanding leadership, innovation, perseverance, creativity, teamwork, and integrity in more than 40 categories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," the awards will be presented on Monday, May 10 in New York City.

A dedicated APS team also supports customers who use the Web site as their primary interface with the company. During 2003, the team responded to several thousand e-mail notes from customers. Those inquiries included specific service questions, inquiries about using the site, and product information requests.
