), a leader in the managed dental care industry, has changed its name to CompDent Corporation, effective today.

The first electronic stock market listing over 5000 companies. The Nasdaq stock market comprises two separate markets, namely the Nasdaq National Market, which trades large, active securities and the Nasdaq Smallcap Market that trades emerging growth companies.
 under the symbol D CPDN. As a result of the name change, the Company also has a new CUSIP number CUSIP Number

An identification number assigned to all stocks and registered bonds. The Committee on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures (CUSIP) oversees the entire CUSIP system.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David R. Klock said the name change will become effective over time throughout the Company's 16-state operations. As a result of recent acquisitions, the Company has been doing business under the names American Dental Plan, DentiCare and CompDent.
