APPRO Systems Introduces Newest Version of LoanCenter Consumer 3.0; Largest Addition of New Functionality to Date in Single Release.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- APPRO Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated credit risk management and financial technologies for the lending industry, today officially introduced the latest version of its consumer loan automation system, LoanCenter Consumer 3.0 (LCC 3.0). LCC 3.0 represents the largest release of new enhancements to date, especially related to home equity and automobile finance lending. The system is currently in use at Tukwila, Wash.-based, BECU Credit Union.

"LCC 3.0 has many new features that provide us with significant efficiencies in the processing of our home equity and automotive applications," said Gary Fee, director of Consumer Loans at BECU Credit Union. "The integration of the settlement services providers streamlines the processing of our home equity applications by eliminating the need to re-key information in the ordering of AVM, title and property information. The integration brings the information back into the APPRO system which can be attached to the application, making the entire process paperless."

LCC 3.0 represents a significant step in the streamlining of home equity line of credit (HELOC) lending with new functionality that provides automated Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting and Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), or "truth in lending," determination capabilities to LCC users.

Auto lending processes are positively impacted by LCC 3.0 through the addition of Phase I support for e-contracting, a re-design of the CarBook Module and enhanced rules to evaluate automobile delinquencies. Now, LCC 3.0 users are able to more efficiently process auto finance loans by having dealers send contract data electronically into LCC 3.0 for previously approved or countered credit applications and capturing vehicle information from CarBook, Vehicle Editor and Vehicle Editor 2 through one program rather than three.

"The enhancements to automotive applications also adds efficiencies with improved valuation capabilities and additional Expert System rules to increase the automation in the approval process, said Fee. "These enhancements coupled with the integration of the CUDL application decisioning system, allow us to provide more consistent and faster approval to our dealer network."
