 Apple Computer Inc. is now shipping a 32-user license product for A/UX, Apple's version of the industry-standard UNIX operating system for the Macintosh personal computer. A/UX 3.0 gives users access to the intuitive Macintosh desktop within the UNIX environment. With A/UX, users can simultaneously run multiple Macintosh productivity, UNIX, X Window System and MS-DOS applications on the desktop. The A/UX 32-User License Product increases the number of users able to access A/UX 3.0, Apple's latest version of UNIX, on a single CPU from 16 up to 32.
 A/UX 3.0 offers customers a range of Macintosh and UNIX features:
 -- It integrates Macintosh power and ease-of-use ranging from full System 7 functionality to support for the highest performance Macintosh Quadra Computers with industry-standard UNIX.
 -- It integrates advanced Macintosh technologies such as QuickTime, the revolutionary extension to Macintosh and A/UX system software products that provides multimedia capabilities, including sound, video and animation. Significance
 Through Apple's A/UX 32-User License Product, the capability to expand access to 32 A/UX users on a single CPU allows customers with growing enterprise-wide systems to take advantage of the full range of Macintosh services and software while preserving their original investment in UNIX systems.
