API Announces Interactive Employee Badge Reader; Employee Information Station Provides Real-Time Messaging for Employees.

(API) announced today the availability of its next-generation badge reader, the Employee Information Station (EIS (1) (Executive Information System) An information system that consolidates and summarizes ongoing transactions within the organization. It provides top management with all the information it requires at all times from internal and external sources. ), which is a Microsoft(R) Windows(R) CE-based, wall- or pedestal-mounted device that includes a 10.4-inch touch-screen display to communicate messages to employees as they badge in.
