APHA: local actions on obesity needed.


Congressional lawmakers should support programs that empower communities to take a stand against obesity, APHA urged in July.

"At the heart of the bill is a focus on empowering local communities to find innovative, practical solutions to their epidemics, a principle that APHA stands strongly behind," Benjamin wrote.
