APC Selects Coral Systems' FraudBuster for Additional Level of Customer Protection; First PCS Provider Selects Profiler Solution to Further Ensure Security of Digital Service.

LONGMONT, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1996--American Personal Communications (APC), an affiliate of Sprint Spectrum L.P., has selected FraudBuster(R), Coral Systems' advanced fraud profiling solution, for use in its PCS/GSM mobile communications environment. Coral Systems' FraudBuster is expected to provide APC's subscribers with an additional level of protection for the already secure digital PCS environment. FraudBuster provides unique fraud prevention capabilities to identify and combat fraud in all recognized wireless environments including GSM, AMPS (analog), CDMA and TDMA. FraudBuster will allow APC to create usage models for all its customers and to monitor actual usage against these models in real-time.
